Double page magazine

Project Title:

Designing Double Page Magazine Article.

I choose El-seed Caligraffiti Article.

Objectives:

      To attract the designers, Artists, Calligrapher, calligrapher critics and Art appreciators.

To presents the beauty of Arabic calligraphy.

     To be more unique, and dynamic.

     To learn more about grid and layout.

Target Audience:

For those who like calligraphy especially Arabic calligraphy and design around the world.

Design specifications:

The magazine is A4 size. Double page. It will be printed in 180 gram High gloss paper (magazine paper).printed in Full CMYK (this stands for the full color process Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black) and full bleed (the double sided printed in A3 size then cut it in A4 size.

Style / The design theme:

The overall design will be simple, colorful and have the layout will be a 2 columns. Use of colours in clean, organised design – very easy for reader to follow.

The font used is calibri

Bold fonts for the title, regular font for the body and italic for the importance text or quotes. 

I use photo of El-seed work and I used it at the first page to attract the users.

In the other page I make the paragraph in two wide columns to make it balanced with the photo of El-seed calligrapher.

I make the title in the first page simple and clear to be unique and different from the calligraphy around it.

In the other page I design the title to be like the Arabic calligraphy I choose Latin script and then create floral lines to be contemporary.

I make two black lines to be this page strong as the other page.

I cut part from the calligraphy photo and put the number page on it.

The second page has a lot of white space to make the page simple, clear, attractive, easy to read and the article as a focal point because the article is the important.

The project is to create a new and expressive design for saudi money 

I ask more people what is the money for you?

more people answer is about buying and selling 

so I think about making something with barcode .

Saudi currency used from all of nationality because the hajj.

so I want to create famous people who make achievements in saudi arabia, to make all of people know them .

The World Without Water Project

First I search about

 what is water ? 

what is the need of water ?

how can we live without water ?

then  I think to make my project different if I make the world without water what happens?

My research contain visual research , sketches , experiments , and surveys.

Water is everywhere... 

 Water is very important for life. We need water to drink, to wash our hands, to cook, to water plants and many other things.

Without water, the plants would die and people and animals would go thirsty.

When water comes, everything changes...

Education

When students are freed from gathering water, they return to class.

Health

Safe water, clean hands, healthy bodies. Time lost to sickness is reduced and people can get back to the work of lifting themselves out of poverty.

Hunger

Access to water leads to food security. With less crop loss, hunger is reduced. Schools can feed students with gardens, reducing costs.

Poverty

Access to water can break the cycle of poverty. The communities we serve are ready to grow. We can't wait to see how they choose to do it.

In 2020 

The demand for water will double.

In 2025

The avaliable water resourses will decreased by 50% .

and the world water consumption will increase by 8.4% .

In 2050

Two- thirds of the world's population will suffer from severe water shortages.

Wars will be fought over water not politicals.

Because of a water related diseases a child dies every 15 seconds

Brushing with the tap running consumers 15 litters.

15% of  people don't have access to clean drinking water.

I think to make my project to make the people live in the future. I will make them live in 2050 without water.

I think to put somethings can touch and feel the dirty and what happens on the thing that used in every day like brush - cup - cloth...etc

And I want to make the atmosphere makes the people thirsty.

So, I ask the people what is makes you feel thirsty?

- most of the answers is hot

- eating salt -spicy.

- smell a coffee.

- talk a lot.

- do exercise.

- running.

- Screaming.

RABEA TEA CAMPAIGN

Rabea Tea Campaign 

I choose this product because I want to advertise the fimiliar product promotion in new manner,

First, I asked the people why you drink tea?

The most answers is to take break from the work and relax.

So I focus on this and I want my campaign take off all the stess.

My copywriting is Take A Little TimeOut.

It means take a little break from all stress around you and relax.

My theme is simple and make the feel of refreshing It is about Zeppelin

(Balloon) and the tea bag flying on the sky.

I choose this theme to relate to my copywriting and my concept of take a little timeout from all the stresses around you and relaxing.

The target audience is all people who like drinking tea and the stresses people. It not related to sacific gender It is for both women and men.

I make my campaign in the university so my target audienc is the students- structures and all the people in the university but I focus in the stress student in the college.
